Erin Griffin, D.O.
Being born and raised in North Carolina, I am thrilled to join Onslow Primary Care as one of their primary care physicians. I am originally from Sanford, NC and now live in Surf City, NC. I attended UNC Chapel Hill for my undergraduate degree. Go Heels !! There, I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I then took a year off, which I partly spent traveling in Australia. Living in Sydney I began to appreciate my interest in promoting a healthy lifestyle and counseling patients in nutrition. I now incorporate this into my practice and provide weight loss and wellness counseling. For my Doctor of Osteopathic Degree I attended Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY; and from there completed residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. While I am not busy working or enjoying the beach I am also very involved in the North Carolina Osteopathic Medical Association and was recently elected president. I look forward to establishing myself in Jacksonville, NC and contributing to good patient care in the local area.
